With Don-key’s V2 in sight, launching on May 16th, it is time to kick off the feature series, which will contain dedicated highlights on each of the features that make V2 so revolutionary.

For those who don’t know, the platform will undergo a major transformation and finally begin delivering on its promise to democratize expertise in yield farming. It will do so by permisionlessly connecting strategy builders and copy farmers, all while delivering a comprehensive, and streamlined retail experience.

V2 is coming, and it is completely unlike anything DeFi has ever seen before.

New Pool Page Overview

Like the rest of the Dapp, Don-key’s strategy page will be given a complete frontend and backend mega upgrade. What was merely serviceable in the past will now be robust, elegant, and dynamic — providing users with a fresh experience that caters to their needs for clear and extensive investment information.

With the Strategy Builder and Community Farmers Market now in play, a lot of strategies will be proposed; and they will vary widely in their longevity, risk management, and reward potential. As such, investors will need sufficient tools to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff so that they are best empowered to diversify their investments across the best farms available.

New Strategy Metrics

Don-key’s backend is now sophisticated enough to support a host of real time metrics across all strategies created on the platform. Now, investors will be able to see the average investor profit percent, total profit realized and unrealized, farm churn rate, TVL growth rate, and investor growth rate.

Also of incredible utility, each farm will now show long standing growth rates in graphic form for strategy APY, investor number, and TVL.

Improving on the V1’s open source list of farm investors, now users will be able to more effectively sort through this data by categorizing according to a variety of search parameters. They include: duration, investment amount, profit

Farmer Community Forum

Embodying the spirit of transparency and unprecedented innovation, the new pool page will feature one of V2’s most important upgrades: The Farmer Community Forum.

It’s a feature that will enable the strategy designer and community to engage in constant communication. The farmer will have a direct interface to share strategy updates, nuanced explanations, and to answer questions. The community, likewise, will be able to share feedback, offer criticism, and suggest improvements.

The upgraded strategy metrics and the farmer community forum will serve to streamline farmer competition so that investors can efficiently select for the best farms available on the platform. Using them as a tool to guide investment decisions, users will be empowered to diversify their copy-farming investment in pools that reflect the best return on investment, qualified by risk.
