Don-key’s test pilot loan and leverage auctions were a stunning success! Over the 4 auctions, 85 bids requested $3,471,605 in loans of the $1,000,000 available, with an average commission of 1.0653% for 1 month.

This represents a 13.56% APY, which serves the dual purpose of giving borrowers plenty of room to earn extra income through leveraged farming, while also promising lenders a stable high source of income. For reference, big lending platforms like Celsius, Blockfi, and Nexos pay an average of 8% APY to lenders, which grants Don-key a 70% lead in ROI.

Don-key will make open-source lending available to the community in about a month, once borrowing and leverage is reintegrated with user feedback into the platform’s V2. In this new and improved version, borrowers will be able to borrow from Don-key’s bolstered treasury (funded by farming, NFT sales, and secondary sales) as well as from the wider community at large.
