Introducing Pancake Farming

Another week, another slew of exciting developments. Our big announcement today is the deployment of the first Pancake Swap strategy. Farmer DonkeyLux will be toiling day in and day out to reap his followers a hearty CAKE bounty of 120%. For those of you who are bullish on Pancake, this means that you will earn an additional 120% on top of Pancake’s price appreciation — making this strategy one of the best places to park CAKE investments. Most importantly, because DonkeyLux will be using a base token with only cake and no pairs that way investors run no risk of impermanent loss.
Development Updates
In the past week, the development team launched several new improvements designed to increase the DAPP’s overall transparency. The goal is to maintain Don-key’s sleek UI, while also providing investors with the critical information needed to optimize their copy-farming experience.
- Each strategy now has an associated risk index; and by hovering their mouse over it, users can find specific information that explains the risk rationale.
2. Similarly, a fee structure breakdown has officially been implemented for each strategy, and can be displayed when the user hovers their mouse over the information button.
3. Lastly, our profit/ loss indicator now shows six decimal places, instead of two, if the user hovers over the metric.
What the Future Holds
Aligned with our value in community inclusion, the team will continue to bring regular project updates on the immediate short term future.
Next week, Don-key intends to:
- Launch our first farming strategy on Polygon (MATIC) — which by the way, is weeks ahead of schedule (kudos to Don-key devs.)
- Start dev on a big UI update that publicizes all of the wallets invested in each strategy as well as their investment date, initial deposit, and amount gained or lost. The rationale behind this is to educate investors on the potential earnings of each strategy with specific data.
In the short- medium term future:
Airdrop Rewards Program
In the weeks following the launch of the Don-key DAPP, the team wants to spread some love to our community, and especially to those of you who are most excited about the platform, and what it means for DeFi.
Upon official announcement of the program in a later post, everyone who tweets a screenshot of their Don-key investment dashboard along with their wallet address, will be awarded an airdrop in DON tokens. Please await further announcements about reward amount and qualifications to participate.
Accelerated APY Rewards
Lastly, in the coming week, the Don-key team will be moving from architecture to development on the Accelerated APY Program, which will be going live next month. Investors who hold a minimum of 1000 DON will enjoy an additional 50% on top of the APY that they earn from copy-farming.
