New V2 and New Tokenomics

With a brand spanking new Don-key platform also comes a brand new tokenomics. In the coming weeks, the team will reveal it in detail. However, today we share a glimpse at one aspect that will go into effect today. It is the new Liquidity Support Fee.

Liquidity Support Fee

All copy-farm deposits will now require an across the board 0.5% entry fee that will be used to purchase $DON tokens and then provide liquidity on Pancakeswap on a daily basis. This will both help decrease price impact while swapping, and provide a steady and constant stream of buying pressure to the $DON token.

Exemptions to this fee, bring us to the introduction of Don-key’s Loyalty Program.

Loyalty Rewards Program

Before Don-key embarks on the next leg of its journey via V2, transforming yield farming forever, it is important to the team that we extend a loyal hand to community members who stuck with us through the product of V1 and who were affected by the collapse of UST while copy-farming on Don-key.

We will do so through the continued roll out of the Loyalty Rewards Program — which will offer exemptions, deals, and profitable opportunities to all wallet addresses that suffered UST depeging in the Sponsored BUSD pool, the Miles Deutscher BUSD pool, and the Balancer WAVAX and USDT.e pool.

Loyalty Reward Perk #1: No Entry Fee

All qualifying addresses will never need to pay the 0.5% entry fee on any copy-farm on the platform — and this will be in effect forever!

This is just a taste of what’s to come as the team continues to prioritize our V1 community, especially those who were hurt by Terra’s catastrophic fall and resulting UST depegging.

In the wake of the pain caused by the UST fiasco, V2 could not arrive any sooner. The upgraded version of the platform answers V1’s centralization and limited selection of farms with a near infinite amount of options, ranging in token type, risk level, and underlying protocols; thus, giving you maximum visibility and authority in guiding your investment decisions.
